Mass to Molar Concentration Converter

Convert ng/mL, µg/mL, mg/mL, or g/L to nM, µM, mM, or M using molar mass. Reverse the conversion on the same page.

Calculations run locally. Inputs are not saved or sent to analytics.

Worked example

10 ng/mL of a 50 kDa molecule is 0.2 nM. A 50 kDa molar mass is entered as 50 kDa or 50,000 g/mol.

Assumptions and limitations

Use the molar mass of the exact molecular species. A mass concentration alone cannot determine molarity. This converter does not identify the molecule or infer its molar mass.
