A collection organized around useful tasks
Toollinks connects focused web apps for science, mathematics, learning, and everyday calculations. The hub’s tool catalog links to specific tasks as well as the 27 app homepages.
Standards for the new lab calculators
- Show the formula, required units, assumptions, and a reproducible worked example.
- Keep calculation inputs in the browser. Do not include them in analytics or share URLs.
- Test known answers, equivalent unit representations, invalid values, and numeric limits before publishing.
- Link underlying references and state limitations. A reference is not an endorsement or professional certification.
These standards describe the eight Toollinks lab calculators introduced in this revision. Individual apps have their own methods and validation coverage; a successful page load does not validate every result.
Corrections
Send the tool URL, non-sensitive example values, expected result, and reasoning to [email protected]. Do not send private medical information, credentials, or confidential research data. Confirmed calculation defects should receive a regression check before the correction is published.
